Community Involvement
Community involvement will be a key area in the radio broadcast, which falls into three areas:

Internal Homely Planet managed projects
musician focus items, broadcasting workshops, etc

Partnership Projects
joint programs designed for broadcast/education with other organisations/groups

External Projects
groups individuals can design programs and apply to homely planet to pass criteria approval. The party if need be can apply to their own funding sources to run project/program using the "Homely Planet" name. Example: youth groups program their own 1hr show.

We have many program formats you can get involved in, from cultural education to production to music to verbal arts.

Volunteering
Homely Planet supports the voluntary sector and offers opportunities and training for people interested in broadcasting, language skills development and community arts.

Music, Storytelling, Event Coverage, Workshops, Debates...it's up to YOU!

Getting airtime - The Broadcasting Process...

• Participant reads guidance notes
• Participant fills out Expression of Interest Application Form
• Form is Assessed by Homely planet Content Committee
• Reply is Given To participant
• If request is granted participants complete Airtime Reservation & Consent Forms
• If recording engineer is needed, Homely Planet will arrange with participant/s
• Participant returns ALL related forms with recording/s
• Item is scheduled
• Participant is notified of broadcast date/s
