A global day of action on Sudan will take place on 9 January 2010, marking the fifth year anniversary of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement between North and South Sudan and one year out from the referendum that will determine whether the Southern region of Sudan will separate from the North. On the 9th Jan drummers will gather across the world to call on leaders to take urgent diplomatic action to prevent conflict returning to Sudan. Northern Ireland will be joining this event.

Connecting Cultures
A radio format in partnership with the organisation "Connecting Cultures" has become a great success, with sessions taking place around the province.
The Connecting Cultures program is a facilitated Q&A session to take away the "mystery" that may surround cultures due to the fact that people may not have the opportunity to ask the questions.
So here is that opportunity; no political correctness, no language skills and no question is stupid. Each session will have at least four people on the panel representing four different countries.
"This has been our greatest program success to date. A simple idea, but one that really is breaking stereotypes and assisting cultural relations"
(Darren Ferguson - project manager)
